What does this mean?
We will no longer be accepting any new domain registrations or any hosting orders.
Effective October 15, 2021 Bluebird Hosting will be shutting down all hosting operations.
What does this mean?
October 15, 2021 will be the last day that hosting accounts will be available. Your hosting account(s) should be transferred out to your new provider. All hosting accounts will be disabled at end day. It is up to the customer to initiate the transfer of their hosting & domain to a new provider. Any good hosting provider will take care of the transfer for you free of charge or for a small fee.
Effective October 31, 2021 End of Domain Support & Hosting
What does this mean?
Effective Oct 31 will be the last day of support for registered domains. Customers should have already transferred their domain out to a new provider. If your unable to do so by this date please contact us.
On this day all Hosting servers will be shutdown.
About Your Hosting
As mentioned above, it is up to the client to backup and move their hosting to a new provider. We will assist as much as possible. Any good hosting provider should be happy to do this free of charge or for a small fee.
Backups: You can download a full backup from your Directadmin Control Panel login.
If you only have a website and it was installed with Installatron, you can also download a Installatron backup to your local computer. Create a new backup just before the move. You can also configure a daily backup and save to a Google drive or other remote location (see options).
About your Domains
If your domain is up for renewal and you do not have enough time, you can simply renew the domain and keep the new expiry date. Afterwards you can initiate a transfer to the new provider for an additional year. This means that after you transferred to new provider your domain will have a 2 year expiry (if you renewed one year with us before hand).
Any new domain registered in the last month will need to wait 60 days before being allowed to be transferred, this is a rule from the registrars. We will honor and support these domains until this time is met.
About your Billing / Payments
Any hosting account prepaid 3 months, 6 months or 1 year will be reimbursed for the time remaining (current month not credited). Monthly billing is not reimbursed.
REFUNDS: In order to receive an eligiable refund you must contact us once your hosting is moved and we will refund remaining months. We will not automatically refund clients.
Domain registrations and renewals are non refundable. Your domain expiry follows you where ever you transfer your domain, it is not lost.
Any free hosting accounts with no activity of 2 months or more will be deleted by Sept 30, 2021. Accounts still in use will follow schedule as paid accounts.
